Like so many, I started practising yoga for the physical benefits, but what kept me returning to the mat was the deeper connection I made with my body & soul.
I found meditation and yoga as a teenager and have enjoyed a personal practice for over 17 years, completing my YTT-200 in Koh Phangan, Thailand, in 2019. A year living in Bali led me into the depths of Yin and the Feminine Path of yoga, which colours my signature teaching style today.
So much of the yoga that's practised all over the world today is masculine-dominated with a heavy focus on activity, strength and "pushing" yourself, which ignores or disrespects women's bodies. This type of yoga is a reflection of our current world, where the feminine principle is devalued and repressed, resulting in so many of us running almost entirely on masculine energy and being severely out of balance.
But there is a different way to practice yoga. A way that celebrates the female body, that honours the feminine principle, and allows you to work in harmony with yourself.
I'm deeply passionate about holding sacred space and leading nourishing classes in the Nottingham area that are tailored to women's bodies and our sacred cycles. The invitation is to slow down, reflect, and return home to yourself.
Every class I create is a ceremony that takes you on a beautiful (and often challenging) journey to meet and embody more of yourself, so that you can navigate your life off the mat with deeper courage, authenticity and devotion.

Work 1:1
My private yoga sessions in Nottingham combine women-centred yin, restorative, and nidra yoga styles that honour the natural cycles of a woman's body.
Each session will be tailored to your specific needs, and where you currently are in your cycle or season of life (internally & externally).
This is not just yoga. Expect a blend of meditation, yoga, coaching, and guided visualisation that leaves you feeling nourished on all levels and encourages self-reflection and evolution. What we do together on the mat will transform your life off the mat.

I understand that sometimes that 6am window before the kids are awake or an evening after work, or even the weekend, may be the only space you have right now for YOU. That's why I'm flexible with my 1:1 sessions and offer them Monday through to Sunday.
I currently work within a (roughly) 30-minute radius of Nottingham NG2. If you're on the cusp or outside, do still reach out as I may be able to accommodate you.
Please note: Private yoga sessions are currently only available for women.

We live in a world that celebrates busyness, hustling, and pushing ourselves. Doing all the things, saying yes to everyone and everything, and embracing the motto: "I'll rest when I'm dead." And this is most prevalent in the workplace and business scene, bleeding out into all areas of our lives, leaving us stressed, exhausted, and depleted of vitality. To compensate, we load up on unhealthy amounts of caffeine, quick sugar fixes, and convenient processed and packaged ready meals that make us feel even worse.
It's no surprise that companies now employ wellness officers as part of their HR team, and are increasingly investing in wellness programs to help nurture their employees' physical, mental and emotional health. Unsurprisingly, when your team are well and feel good, it's great for business.
